Brrrrrrr.........frigid weather, snow storms, winter blizzards........NOT HERE!!!
It was probably about 80 degrees when we met at EDI, and as the day went on, it had to reach almost 90, (it sure felt like it) I know I wished I had worn my white 'colors' t-shirt.
We had a pretty decent turnout with Mikee, Mongo, Brian and his lady friend, Barry and his ladyfriend, Byron, myself and great friend of the club, Alecia.
The ride out to the fairgrounds was almost uneventful until Road Captain Mongo let the pack get passed by a MOPED, sheesh, how embarrassing (punishment to be determined).
Upon arrival at the South Florida Fairgrounds we met up with Barefoot John, dressed quite appropiately in his shorts, sandals, and white 'colors' t-shirt (he be smarter than me).
Ran into quite a few of our sober friends, including, but not limited to, Pacer Bob, Bruce, and Mark from Irom Eagle.
The usual 'leaving the park promptly at noon' was just a tad bit later. Only seen one crashed bike on the ride to Dreher Park and didn't hear of any other incicents.
At the park I ran into a bunch of people I know, Ricky Lee, Dennis, Brian, and a lot Alternative MC members.
We stayed quite a while, listened to the band, ate some really good food, and enjoyed the sites and sounds that go with any large event.
It looked like the Marines collected quite a few Toys For Tots, as their vehicles were full to the back end of the truck. Once again, the generosity of the biker community in Palm Beach County has come through for the holidays.
