EASY DOES IT CLUB'S 2008 FISH FRY

Time for a little service work again this year, no matter how ominous the weather was looking. This years event was in celebration of The Easy Does It Clubs 30 years of service to the recovery community. Third Tradition Motorcycle Fellowship President Harley has cooked for this event since it's inception about 4 years ago. He does it unselfishly and barely even complains. ('Its a joke son, its a joke'-Foghorn Leghorn). This year there was about 50 pounds of fish, 15 pounds of french fries, 20 pounds of hush puppies, and a couple tons of bull_ _ _ _ that was cooked up under the big top out in the EDI parking lot. Thanks Pete for the tent!

The event was well attended and all went home with a full load of food. I even was able to get in a half hour nap before the 6 PM Sobriety and Thunder AA meeting.

I can't even begin to mention everyone who was involved in making this special event a success, but Chad and Maggie did accept the Pie In The Eye quite graciously. And guess what! The weather held out long enough to even get everything cleaned up when it was all over.

The Easy Does It Club would like to extend their thanks to all who assisted and those that attended the event, without you, the Annual Fish Fry would not exist.
