Toys In The Sun Run 2008

The alarm is set, 4 freakin 45 in the AM. 4:30 AM that 21st century invention, the cell phone rings. To add insult to injury, it's a damn text message waking me up, not even a real person. 'What time are we leaving' the message reads. In an after thought, I should have told that person we had already were at the harness track, but I didn't. (say thank you Ghost/Hell NO).
For the first hour or so of directing the traffic into the track/casino, it appeared that compared to last year the Toy Run was off to a slow start, but after that it was just non-stop traffic. I'm not sure what the final count was, but it seemed to be about the same as last year. give or take 2-3 people
This year I was able to get a few photos of the VIP's entering the venue, even got a couple of shots of Miami Mike video taping the event. There were definitely more vendors this year.
